What is a Car Hire Broker?
Our relationship with car hire brokers
Automatic Car Hire search multiple brokers with just one click – industry leaders such as Holiday Autos, Carhire3000, Auto Europe and Arguscarhire.com allow us to connect with their systems through an XML feed to give you the same availability and value as their direct websites.
What is a broker?
Each broker will work with multiple suppliers from large multi nationals such as Europcar, National / Alamo and Sixt to smaller localized suppliers such as Goldcar or County Car Rental.
They may work with the same suppliers in localities but they will be pricing competitively to send enough volume to their chosen suppliers to warrant better net rates next season.
Net rates are the pricing by car, by destination, by season and by duration given to the brokers by each of the suppliers. These will either be:
The amount taken is the full amount for the duration of the rental. Nothing additional to the value of the rental will be needed at the desk.
Example broker: Auto Europe
You pay a deposit to secure the rental (normally the value of the mark up from the supplier’s net rates) and the remaining balance is paid locally in the local currency.
Example broker: Arguscarhire.com
By connecting with multiple brokers we are bringing you availability and products from every main supplier in your chosen destination. Let Automatic Car Hire save you time and effort and choose us to search or your next car rental.
